Champion Chard
Updated: Feb 28, 2019
Love chard! It's hardy, colourful and most importantly tastes fab in all forms. We planted six of these last year, and they gave us an ongoing supply of baby leaves for salads and garnishes, crunchy stems for stews, stir fries, soups and beautiful leaves which are delicious wilted like spinach with butter and garlic, mmmm.

This is the last one standing but still going strong. If you fancy growing your own chard you'll be pleased to know they don't need a lot of attention and can be grown in a pot if you don't have a lot of space.
